SB 31 – Sen. Scavello – Establishes the Spinal Cord Injury Research Program and allocates not less than $1,000,000 from the Tobacco Settlement Fund for appropriate research.

HB 17 – Rep. Hahn – Amends the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Control Act to clarify that a parent or guardian of a minor child (defined as a person under the age of 18) can authorize treatment for the minor’s use of a controlled or harmful substance.

HB 118 – Rep. Kaufer – Amends the Health Care Facilities Act by adding a Section 822 establishing the Emergency Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Program (“EDADP”).  The EDADP provides for detoxification in licensed health care facilities.
