Senate Hearings to Focus on Ensuring Accountability and Equality in Law Enforcement and the Criminal Justice System

(HARRISBURG) – The Senate Judiciary Committee and Law and Justice Committee will hold joint public hearings Wednesday and Thursday on ensuring accountability and equality in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

The hearings will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday in the Senate Chamber, with testifiers joining remotely.

The two-day agenda will allow the panel to hear from prosecutors, activists, police, academics and others.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is chaired by Sen. Lisa Baker (R-20) and the Senate Law and Justice Committee is led by Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32).
