SB 647 – Hutchinson – Amends Title 42 by adding a new Section 3576. Section 3576 will create the Drug Recognition Expert Training Fund as a special fund in the State Treasury.
SB 902 – Baker – Amends Section 1404 (b) of the County Code to clarify that upon a vacancy in the office of District Attorney in a county of the fourth through eighth class, the First Assistant District Attorney shall be appointed as District Attorney only upon a showing that the First Assistant District Attorney satisfies the requirements of Section 1401 (regarding the qualifications, eligibility, and compensation of a District Attorney).
SB 924 – Farnese – Adds a Subchapter G to Chapter 55 of Title 20 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes creating a streamlined guardianship process for medically disabled children after they reach the age of majority.
HB 1402 – Nesbit – Amends Section 3132 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes by adding a new Section 3132 which creates the offense of Sexual Extortion.
