To consider the following bills:

SB 674 – Sen. Rafferty – Amends the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act (the “Act”) to provide that when the Federal Government adds, deletes or transfers a substance to the schedules of controlled substances, the same shall occur within 60 days to the corresponding schedules contained in the Act.Summary

SB 179 – Sen. Bartolotta – Requires the Department of Health to develop and administer an Internet based acute care mental health bed registry to facilitate the temporary hospitalization and treatment of individuals who meet the criteria for inpatient examination and treatment under the Mental Health Procedures Act.  Amendment to be offered by Sen. Baker.  – Summary

SB 439 – Sen. Fontana – Enacts the Carbon Monoxide Alarm Standards in Child Care Facilities Act (the “Act”).  The Act would require the installation, maintenance, repair or replacement of carbon monoxide detectors in child care facilities that use fossil fuel-burning heaters or appliances, fireplaces or are attached to garages.  Amendment to be offered by Sen. Schwank. – Summary
