Department of Military and Veterans Affairs

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is pleased to announce the availability of up to $500,000 in Veterans’ Trust Fund (VTF) grant funding.

Grants will be considered in the following areas:

  • Up to $350,000 in competitive grants to veterans service organizations and non-profit organizations with a mission of serving Pennsylvania veterans, focusing on four areas of emphasis: homelessness, behavioral health initiatives, outreach services, and other programs or services which address newly identified, unmet or emerging needs of veterans and their families
  • Up to $100,000 in competitive grants to County Directors of Veterans Affairs or the Pennsylvania Association of County Directors of Veterans’ Affairs, focusing on four areas of emphasis: health care enrollment, veteran outreach initiatives, veterans court initiatives, and other programs or services which address newly identified, unmet or emerging needs of veterans and their families
  • Up to $50,000 to a veterans service organization, non-profit organization with a mission of serving Pennsylvania veterans, County Director of Veterans Affairs or the Pennsylvania Association of County Directors of Veterans’ Affairs to co-sponsor a Veterans Symposium

Grant information can be found at www.vtf.state.pa.us. Grant applications must be received at DMVA by 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, November 24, 2014.
