Dallas – Following Governor-elect Tom Corbett’s announcement nominating Dan Meuser to serve as Pennsylvania’s Revenue Secretary, Senator Lisa Baker made the following statement:
“It is encouraging that Governor Corbett has tapped someone from northeastern Pennsylvania for one of the key positions in state government.
The fiscal record of an administration depends in part on the leadership and managerial skills of the individual serving as Revenue Secretary.
Dan Meuser brings integrity, a good work ethic, people skills, and the experience of running a successful company to this assignment.
State tax collection is a tough and unpopular business, especially during difficult economic times, but Dan will inject a solid sense of fairness in carrying out this responsibility.”
