The Senate Majority Policy Committee held a public hearing on Tuesday,
November 18th, 2008, to better understand the opportunities and
challenges posed by the development of the Marcellus Shale natural gas
deposit in the Commonwealth.
"The hearing was the first step," said
Senator Baker. "We will be evaluating the testimony and making
recommendations for further action by the appropriate standing
committees of the Senate."
