
December 10, 2010 – Senator Baker joined elected officials, business and
community leaders, and area veterans to announce the introduction of legislation
to designate the Church Street Bridge, Wayne County, as the Brigadier General
Richard J. Tallman Memorial Bridge. Above, from left to right are: Wayne County

Mayor Jonathan Fritz; Wayne County Commissioner Tony Herzog; Joe McGraw, a
Honesdale native who submitted the idea to have the bridge renamed; and Wayne

December 10, 2010 – Senator Baker gave the keynote speech at the Fraternal Order
of Police Wyoming Valley Lodge No. 36 Police Officer's Ball held at the East
Mountain Inn, Plains Township.

December 6, 2010 - Senator Baker, Representative Karen Boback, and veterans from
Northeastern Pennsylvania and around the Commonwealth attended a special
wreath-laying ceremony at the Capitol to honor and remember America’s fallen
soldiers. The ceremony was held to pause and remember those who have served
this country and those who have died in the name of United States.

selection of holiday music in the State Capitol Rotunda. Pictured with the choir
