August 27, 2010 – A ribbon cutting and open house was held at The Wayne County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located just off Route 652 in Beach Lake.  The EOC houses the Emergency Management Agency, 911 Dispatch and 911 Administrative offices.  Following the ribbon cutting ceremony elected officials accepted an invitation to tour the new facility.  In the photo above, from left to right are, Senator Baker, Commissioner Wendell Kay, Commissioner Tony Herzog, Commissioner Brian Smith, Representative Sandy Major and Representative Mike Peifer.
