February 27, 2010 - Senator Baker had the honor of congratulating two brothers from Troop 418, Nanticoke, for becoming Eagle Scouts. Senator Baker attended the Eagle Scouts’ Court of Honor and presented each with a Senate Citation to commemorate their achievements. February 22, 2010 – During the Senate Appropriations Committee’s DCED Budget Hearing Senator Baker pointed out that cuts to tourism could have a significant effect on tourist destinations like the Poconos. She asked how the department is working to relocate businesses to Pennsylvania.

February 9, 2010 - Students from West Side Area Career and Technology Center’s Law Enforcement/Police Science curriculum visited the state Capitol in celebration of Career and Technical Education Month. February 9, 2010 - Cody Ragonese (left) a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School and Patrick Kalish (right) a senior at Holy Redeemer High School spent the day shadowing Sen. Baker in Harrisburg.

February 3, 2010 - Jason Weilage, a resident of Wyoming County, met with Senator Baker in Harrisburg to learn more about her role on the Public Health and Welfare Committee. Jason is currently a student at Wilkes University pursuing a career in pharmacy.

February 2, 2010 - Senator Baker joins other legislators and the American Heart Association for a news conference to kick off American Heart month.
