25, 2009 - Senator Baker spoke at a ceremony re-dedicating Wayne Memorial
Hospital to local members of the armed forces who gave their lives fighting for
their country. The tablet being dedicated, that was hung on the original
hospital building in 1920, was affixed to the hospital's new addition.

May 23, 2009 - Scott Anthony Daube, Boy Scout Troop 281, Dallas,
recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout. His community service project was the
replacement of fencing around the Rolling Green Pet Cemetery at the SPCA of

friends in a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Emergency
Management and Communications Center.

May 15, 2009 - As a thank you for their services, a group of Lake
Lehman students held a luncheon for local police officers. The luncheon took
place during National Police Week and National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

of the Pennsylvania VFW with a Senate Resolution to declare May 1st as "Loyalty
Day", a day for Americans to promote patriotism and celebrate our freedom.
