November 16, 2008 – Nuangola Borough began what will be a year-long celebration in honor of the community’s centennial anniversary.  Senator Baker presented a citation to the borough council in honor of the occasion and also presented certificates and flag pins to five young volunteers from the borough.  Above, Council President Regina Plodwick, Senator Baker, and Representative Karen Boback watch as a customized flag in recognition of the centennial is raised outside of the borough building.
