September 24, 2008 – The Pink Ribbon Tour made a stop in Harrisburg where Senator Baker met "The Guardians of the Ribbon," a group of police men, firefighters, and community leaders who travel across the country to raise awareness about breast cancer. A pink fire truck and pink uniforms for the volunteers serve as trademarks for the tour and a reminder to everyone about the importance of finding a cure.
