SB 473 – Sen. Scavello – Amends Sections 6301, 6305 and 6306.1 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes regarding tobacco products, alternative nicotine products and vapor products.

Title 42
Amends the Municipal Police Jurisdiction Act (MJPA) to afford exceptions for an officer acting outside his primary jurisdiction if the officer is a member of a task force or has received appropriate approvals.
Title 18
Adds subsections to Sections 6105 (Persons not to possess) and 6111 (Sale or transfer of firearms) of the Crimes Code to grant the Attorney General concurrent jurisdiction to prosecute these crimes in a City of the First Class where the Attorney General has operated a joint local-state firearm task force.
