Baker Report Highlights Activities at PSP Camp Cadet Program

On this month’s Baker Report, Senator Lisa Baker visited the Pennsylvania State Police Troop P Camp Cadet Program at Camp Kresge near White Haven.

The week-long program emphasizes physical fitness, self-discipline, and teamwork.  It is designed to give young people an inside view of the state police academy by providing hands-on training in many of the techniques utilized in law enforcement.  Camp Cadet is open to students ages 12-15 from Luzerne, Sullivan, Bradford, and Wyoming counties.

Cadets also joined Senator Baker in the Vanishing Voter program, which demonstrates the power of civic engagement and the importance of voting.
